I’d prefer if they weren’t selling MTX… but I can live with it, because the game is spend-capped.
Once you buy a ticket bundle, it’s marked “purchased”, and it can’t be bought again. Once you’ve bought all the ticket bundles, you can’t buy more.
This means there is no whaling involved, which I have found leaves me comfortable playing, as well as spending a little more than the cost of entry.
If we have to accept MTX in premium games that are not ongoing services, #spendcapped monetization is the way to do it.
